I’m sitting in bed with my computer, listening to my daughter snore ever-so-gently, getting ready to do a little schoolwork. I realized a few minutes ago that I don’t have my glasses – they weren’t in their case when I checked – and I haven’t any idea where they are. Let’s hope I can find them, because if I don’t wear them, I get gigantic headaches. Plus, I…ummm…already lost one pair in September. What can I say? They’re reading/computer glasses, so sometimes I just tuck them into the neck of my shirt and forget about them because I don’t need to wear them all the time. I will be so upset with myself if I lost another pair.
Today was horrendous, but it’s pretty much over. After a very stressful and long day at school, my PMS, stress, dehydration, and poor nutrition combined into a sort of perfect storm/horrific headache. It was just moving into migraine with aura territory, but I managed to hit it with some Advil Liquigels just in time and feel almost human again. At least I now feel up to doing some schoolwork – I just know that reading without my glasses will likely compound my headache problem, though, so I guess I should hurry up and finish blogging and get to my internal medicine cases!
Short on veggies and water today and won’t be food journaling. Oh well – tomorrow. Working out is also not fitting into the schedule until Friday. Lots of exams and deadlines coming up at school, and squeezing in a workout is not a priority in comparison. Bootcamp Saturday and then a 4.5k run planned for Sunday – this time, I plan to ACTUALLY run it at a very easy pace.
That’s it for now! Thanks for the words of encouragement. I’m hanging in there, but sometimes I like to get things off my chest. In a year and a bit, I should be all done school and looking forward to working and earning a living instead of paying tuition and racking up my student line of credit.
Do you ever lose track of items you use on a daily basis? What’s your secret to hanging on to reading glasses, keys, etc.?
I always put things back in the same place so that I won’t lose track of them. I used to misplace things all the time though.

Well thankfully I am blind as a bat so there is no way I could lose my glasses — unless someone knocks them off my face. Then I’m screwed!
I try to keep things in the same place — on the kitchen counter by the door — like my keys, camera, etc.

Gah! I am always losing things. I’ve been known to run around the house like a mad woman, looking for my sunglasses when they’re right on my head! Hang in there. 🙂
