“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” Eckhart Tolle
Thoughts and feelings are irrevocably intertwined. The emotions you experience are a result of the thoughts that you think. Part of feeling abundant is having thoughts that make you feel that way. Luckily, you can control your thoughts (it’s still something that I’m working on – it’s a practice), which means that you can change your feelings. It all starts with knowing what you’re thinking and feeling, and so today, pay attention to your thoughts and feelings around money, wealth, abundance, and scarcity. For example, if you feel jealous of your friend who’s just told you that she’s headed to Hawaii next month, tune into your thoughts and notice what you’re telling yourself. “She’s so lucky. I’ll never have the money to do that. Must be nice.” (P.S. These are thoughts I’ve had before.)
Meditation: Light of Prosperity and Abundance from The Meditation Podcast. The preamble is really good and well worth a listen. The meditation starts at the 2:00 mark. Note that this is longer meditation (25:56), so make sure you’re comfy. If, like me, you’re not a “god” person, substitute whatever feels right: energy, higher power, goddess, etc.
